It was a magical evening as 125 Heirloom Cookshop guests gathered to celebrate Heirloom Cookshop’s first year of success! Guests enjoyed delicious noshes, local wines, local bru, the music of Tyler Gahn, and BBQ from local resident and chef BardsleyQue. Each guest walked away with a swag bag loaded with cool merch and deals from our local partners: Pine Drop Coffee, Down to Earth, Carousel, Timber City Ginger Beer, Mount Si Winery, Cru Selections, Dru Bru, Sigillo Cellars, and Trail Youth Coffee Home. Kim from Snoqualmie shared, “I was very happy to celebrate Heirloom and support The Trail Youth Coffee Home. Both are fantastic contributors to our community. This event, like others, did not disappoint, and we had a great time!”
The Heirloom team was so inspired by the good works The Trail Youth Coffee Home is doing for all youth, they decided to feature an EPIC raffle benefiting their new coffee house in North Bend. Kristen Zuray, Executive Director, shared, “It was a beautiful event celebrating community. It’s apparent that Heirloom isn’t just a cookshop, it's a community-oriented family, and Trail Youth appreciates their generous hearts for the youth of this valley.” Tonya Guinn, Program Director, stated, “We were excited that the teens in our program had the opportunity to support Heirloom's first birthday bash through their colorful artwork. And the $1,410 in donations received from the raffle will go to support our teen programing to impact more youth in our Valley.” Wendy Laxton, Coffee Operations Manager, introduced a local youth in the Trail Youth program whose testimony was a living example of how this unique program is touching the lives of youth in the Snoqualmie Valley.
