In these extraordinary times, it helps to reflect on what matters most—getting innovative and working toward NEW goals. That’s exactly what we’ve been doing! After three wonderful years of hard work, collaboration, fun and bringing delicious dishes to the community in our restaurant, we are getting behind the scenes and getting our hands dirty on the farm.

I’m thrilled to introduce Heirloom Cookshop Collective, a true farm-to-table experience. Inspired by my move to a farm (complete with chickens and my own homegrown vegetables!), I’ll be sharing pictures, recipes and updates as this new adventure unfolds. I know you will be as inspired as I am!

The Collective is also providing Heirloom's popular prepared salads, sandwiches, treats, provisions and burritos to local coffee shops in the area: Aroma in Fall City, Dark Horse in Snoqualmie & Redmond, and Coffee Too! in Preston. Please come support these local businesses and grab some of your favorites from Heirloom Cookshop Collective.

We’ve also been working hard to update our website, which means you can now buy the provisions that you love directly from heirloomcookshop.com. You will find some staple favorites (think: fennel salted croutons, cherry bomb hot sauce and candied bacon mix) as well as some new surprises from the collaboration of Heirloom Cookshop and Frisky Girl Farm (like fresh and spicy kimchi, pickles and pickled peppers).

So many activities are in the works in the coming months. Heirloom is working with the City of Snoqualmie to continue the tradition of our festive Winter Market. On December 5th, we will host an open air shopping opportunity to support local businesses, with all safety precautions in place. We want to support our local merchants while keeping visitors virus-free! (Stay tuned for more information.)

As always, we are also be offering our Thanksgiving sides and gift boxes in time for the holidays. And once the world starts to gather together again, we will definitely bring back our Vine & Hops dinner series—now in our beautiful outdoor space where the vegetables grow and the chickens roam.

In short, we can’t wait to get back to serving the community and people that we love. As we do, please keep in touch! You can find us at the usual places—heirloomcookshop.com, @heirloomcookshop on Instagram, and Facebook—or drop us an email at heirloomcookshop@gmail.com. Newsletter subscribers will also receive updates like this one directly to their inbox.

Until I see you, stay safe and stay healthy!

With gratitude,

Chef Kristen Schumacher
