About the event

Who doesn’t love cake?!

Become a cake baking fiend and learn the basics of cutting even layers, applying a crumb coat, and creating a smooth professional finish. You will also learn about the science behind creating a moist and tender cake as well as the art of the Swiss Meringue Buttercream. Marianna will lead the way and we’ll be making lemon cake with blackberry swiss meringue buttercream, carrot cake with brown butter mascarpone swiss meringue buttercream, devil’s food cake with peanut butter swiss meringue buttercream and peanut brittle, and apple spice cake with maple swiss meringue buttercream and apple butter.
